On the Origin
The People Archive was initiated in 2025 as a response to the impermanence of digital platforms and the absence of a universal, voluntary record of human existence.
It was started by a small group of individuals who believed that presence itself deserves preservation — independent of fame, achievement, or recognition.
We do not rely on the cloud.
Unlike platforms that rent ephemeral space, we operate on our own independent, physical servers. We are prepared for a future where the internet as we know it changes or disappears.
The archive is intended to outlast its creators.
